Set on an elevated plot within the Almenara Golf area of Sotogrande, this contemporary villa project by FLOW81 takes its character from the surrounding landscape. Overlooking the golf course and wooded hills towards the Mediterranean, the architecture follows the natural slope of the terrain, creating a series of open spaces, terraces and gardens that bring the views into everyday life. The design is defined by strong horizontal lines, generous glazing and a close relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Natural stone, timber and planted roofs soften the contemporary architecture, while the different levels of the house create a sense of openness without compromising privacy.
